ABOUT

Hello, I’m Sarah!

My design journey began in an unexpected place: the library. In 2021, my role as a library clerk granted me the opportunity to create a variety of print and digital collateral for library programs, all while assisting and building connections with the local library patrons. Though the library isn’t the typical starting point for a design career, each task was taken as a chance to refine my design skills and engage with a diverse community. This foundation in the public sector led to design internships with the Maricopa County Public Health Department, Resilience Inc., and Let’s Jetty.

Having designed for the local library, a mental health company, and the public health department has shown me the power of graphic design in supporting community-driven narratives and serving a greater purpose. My goal is to leverage both design experience and passion for community service to help organizations find their voice and tell their story through graphic design.
